If you are a driver (ordinary cars, passenger vehicles or heavy goods vehicles), you can learn to become a qualified driving instructor. Once qualified, you may work with existing driving schools as a full time or a part time driving instructor. You get to work flexi hours if you so choose; or work 9 to 5. Most driving schools will also let you use the car outside your duty time. The financial rewards depend upon your locality, which driving school you work with and the time you are willing to put in. Many driving instructors choose to run their own driving school as that gives them more freedom. However, it also carries more responsibility - all the administration, tax, insurance, business issues have to be dealt with. Driving instructors can earn good money on an hourly basis - that means you may combine this with other work if you wish. |
